On December 24th at 5:00 pm, a heart-warming Christmas Eve service will take place here at First Baptist. This service has always been such an encouragement as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our wonderful Savior.

Join us for this one-hour service under the dim lights of candles throughout the auditorium.

Celebrate the Christmas Season at First Baptist

When fall has given way to winter and snow covers the ground and lights twinkle from house to house, you know Christmas is coming. Decorated Christmas trees are everywhere you look. Presents crowd for space under the tree and families come together for a festive feast. Christmas is one of the most important Christian and cultural holidays of the year, but what is the true meaning of Christmas?

Christmas is a time of spiritual reflection on the important foundations of the Christian faith. It’s also a celebration. It’s when Christians celebrate God’s love for the world through the birth of the Christ child: Jesus.

The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that through belief in Christ we are daughters and sons of God. Heaven will one day be our home. Perhaps this will help you look at the Christmas season differently this year: A chance to truly take in the wonder and awe of the season.

We are hoping and praying that you would take some time during this busy season and worship the birth of our Savior with us here at First Baptist.

Let’s Pray and Worship Together
